The 2-Week Detox Program is best for individuals in their teenage years and older.

Yes! Even if you have detoxed before, this is a great program for you. In fact, many of Dr. Nuzum's patients complete the 2-Week detox multiple times (usually every 6 months).

Dr. Nuzum recommends focusing only on the detox formulas for best results, but it’s ultimately up to your comfort level.

In your handbook, the allowed and not allowed foods are explained in detail with reasons why we are removing these foods. For convienence, here is the list.
Foods allowed during the detox include chicken, wild-caught salmon, legumes, seeds, nuts, quinoa, limited amounts of raw dairy (including cheese, milk, and butter), all the vegetables in all the colors!, avocado oil, olive oil, herbs and spices, detox teas (ginger, dandelion, fenugreek, green tea, rooibos, milk thistle, chicory, pau de arco, and slippery elm).
Foods NOT allowed during the detox include sugar, pork, red meat, farmed fish, soy products, peanuts, canned foods, corn (including byproducts), potatoes, dried fruits, grains, coffee, soda, nut milks containing gums and fillers, vegetable and seed oils (including canola, sunflower, and corn oil), stimulants (alcohol, smoking, caffiene, etc.), processed foods (prepackaged foods), and processed chocolate.
This may seem like a long list to remove and avoid but know this: you are capable of completing a detox! Additionally, if there are certain foods you can't cut out or a food contains a small amount of a food on the not allowed list, that is okay! We are striving for completion more than perfection. We can't be perfect, but we can do our best.
Note on coffee: If you absolutely cannot give up coffee for the duration of the detox, I would rather you successfully
complete most of a detox, rather than fail because your body is addicted to caffeine. Reduce your coffee quantity and increase your coffee quality by choosing beans that are organic and non-GMO. Don’t drink more than two cups a day and don’t forget to increase your water consumption to balance the diuretic effects. Please know that the detox will work best if you can give up coffee completely during the program. It is mind over matter—you can do it!

Yes, especially if you’re reducing caffeine. Stay hydrated and try drink a cup or two of green tea to ease the transition.

Tried to do it exactly as stated even soaking all the nuts/seeds. Do that the night before! Coffee cravings disappeared for the first time in 35+ years. Lost four pounds. Energy was good but not terrific. Mood was level, no yo yo patterns like I have had on other detox protocols. Brain function is measurably better as seen by increase in Peak brain scores (a game ap that tests language, memory, problem solving, focus, mental agility, emotion, and coordination). The only score that didn't increase over the 2 week period was problem solving (level). Brain fog better. Joints better, not as achy. Craved ice cream for some reason (this is unusual for me, I almost never eat ice cream, maybe 1 time every 2 or 3 months, and can't remember another duration like this where I craved it so much). The book says if you crave sweets eat fruit, garlic, or sulfur type foods, so I did. Still wanted the ice cream. Overall, very glad I did it. Increased my vegetable consumption significantly.
Following thec2 week protocol with these products have helped with detoxing, less bloating, less craving of sweets, and overall feeling lighter and sharper.

I ordered the 2 week detox after reading Dr. Nuzum's book on detox. I had no idea if I would notice any results from this detox but really liked the premise behind it. During my detox I felt more sleepy than usual but otherwise had no negative effects. In fact, I felt great. After I finished I noticed my brain fog had cleared, I felt generally healthier, I'd been able to drop some fat that I hadn't been able to shed and my memory had improved. I am extremely pleased with he results of this detox and plan to do it again in the future.
