Fresh Fruit-Vegetable juice

Ingredients:

1 medium green apple, cored
1 small pear, cored
1 medium cucumber
2 stalks celery
1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (or 1 small slice)
1 cup spinach or kale (loosely packed)
½ lemon, peeled
1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
½ to 1 cup cold filtered water (adjust for desired consistency)

Directions

  1. Wash all produce thoroughly.
  2. If using a juicer, feed all ingredients through, alternating fruits and vegetables.
  3. If using a blender, combine all ingredients with water and blend on high until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag if you prefer a smoother juice.
  4. Serve immediately over ice or chilled.
