Green Apple Smoothie Recipe
This is definitely a beginner’s green smoothie that even children will enjoy. Sometimes it’s hard for children, or even adults, to want to eat or drink something green, but when you show them the green apple and tell them it’s a smoothie, it helps make the concept acceptable—certainly more acceptable than a parsley or spinach smoothie!

Packing more vitamin C than an orange, the kiwifruit is a nutritional powerhouse. The skin of the kiwi—yes, you can eat the skin if the fruit is organic— is also nutrient rich. The kiwi is high in omega–3 fatty acids which promotes mobility in joints and tendons. The kiwi is also rich in vitamins A, B6, B12, C, E, K, copper and potassium, rich in heart-healthy polyphenols, supports the health of the brain and immune system, and protects against free radical damage.
