Ingredients:
- 8 cups water (4 to boil and 4 to add once cooled)
- 4-inch piece of ginger, sliced
- 2-3 stalk lemongrass, cut into 2 inch lengths
Instructions:
- In a 2-quart pan, bring 4 cups of water, ginger, and lemongrass to a boil.
- Remove the pan from heat and let the tea steep for about 4-5 minutes or until the flavor is as strong as you like
- Let the tea cool for about 30 minutes
- Pour the cooled tea through a fine strainer into a pitcher
- Add 4 more cups of water to the pitcher
- Cover the pitcher and chill the tea in the refrigerator until cold, at least 2 hours.
- Serve the ginger lemongrass iced tea in a glass, and enjoy!
