Follow these 4 Steps for a Healthy Gut

In the digestive system, you have many different organs to help you digest food, absorb the nutrients from that food, and remove any toxins that might be in that food. However, if your system isn't working properly, there are many symptoms that you may start experiencing. Symptoms include bloating, indigestion, constipation, and more.

You may be wondering, "But Doc, how do I keep my system in check to ensure it's functioning properly?"

Here are a few steps to get you started:

Drink Plenty of Water

The average adult needs about four to six cups of water a day or at least half your body weight in ounces. For example, if you weigh 130 pounds, drinking 65 ounces of water a day is recommended. To avoid dehydration, drink fluids gradually throughout the day. An easy way to remember is to have a full glass at each meal. If you're working out or sweating more than usual, drink extra water to avoid heatstroke (in hot weather) and dehydration.

And remember, you can also get fluids from water-rich foods, such as salads, fruit, and applesauce.

Eat Fresh Fruits and Vegetables

Eating fresh fruits and vegetables provide your body with natural enzymes and aid in a healthy gut. Digestive enzymes are created in the stomach, small intestine, and pancreas; however, the pancreas produces the most important digestive enzymes. These enzymes break down carbohydrates, proteins, and fat in our foods. If these enzymes are used too much, this can cause a deficiency in digestive enzymes as your body cannot keep up with the production. The standard diet is often composed of cooked vegetables. The process of cooking vegetables breaks down the proteins in the plant, and when you eat it, your body has to use some of the enzymes it has created. Eating raw vegetables helps to provide those enzymes to prevent an unhealthy gut microbiome. However, if you already have a damaged gut, as most people do, it is best to avoid eating too many raw vegetables because the body does not have the correct tools to digest these foods.

Some people have a hard time with raw vegetables, and this is due to an unhealthy microbiome. In many cases, starting with a diet of cooked vegetables and soups can help calm their gut problems until the microbiome has been rebuilt. However, it is important to address these gut issues with the onset of any symptoms. Fulvic acid, digestive enzymes, and frequent bowel movements are essential in rebuilding the gut and microbiome.

Taking a digestive enzyme supplement is another great way to build up your body's natural enzyme reserve. It provides the extra enzymes needed to digest the cooked food when taken with meals. It also helps to rebuild the microbiome from previous damage and enzyme depletion.

Avoid Processed Foods and Artificial Sugars

Many processed foods contain chemicals and hard-to-digest ingredients that our bodies were not designed to digest. Things like natural and artificial flavors, preservatives, artificial sugars (aspartame, bleached white sugar, etc.), and GMOs affect our bodies more than we know. Many issues like leaky gut are caused by eating these fake foods. Eating healthy foods like fruits and vegetables keeps your body healthy and full of nutrients with the aid of supplements.

Take High-Quality Supplements

Our soil is depleted of many minerals and nutrients. One of the primary nutrients missing is Fulvic acid. Our old practices of planting the same crops each year, spraying the crops with pesticides, and using chemical fertilizers have hurt the land. That's why we include Fulvic acid in many of our supplements.

Adding Equalizer Concentrate to your daily supplements gives you the minerals and Fulvic acid you need to help cell regeneration (new cell formation), nutrient absorption (enhanced absorption from food), and increase your energy. Fulvic acid helps by enhancing pH, providing essential nutrients, and providing electrical energy.

Digestive Detox is a great supplement to aid in colon health, directly linked to gut health. If the toxic waste can't leave the body, you can become sick as these toxins will get absorbed into the system. Best taken before bed, this helps things move along and stop constipation.

Super Digest provides enzymes to help break down hard-to-digest foods like proteins, carbs, and raw vegetables. Due to a depleted microbiome, many people who struggle to digest raw, uncooked foods see improvement with this supplement. Signs you need supplementation include bloating, long periods of burping after eating, and stomach discomfort.

Another essential ingredient that many people forget is probiotics. Ful-Biotic is a probiotic blend that provides probiotics plus Fulvic acid. Each serving contains over 22 billion colony-forming units (CFU). This probiotic blend is perfect when you have a tummy ache, food poisoning, digestion problems, and recently or regularly use prescription antibiotics. Also, it is great if you eat high sugar content foods, live with high amounts of stress, eat mainly processed foods (standard American diet), and have been exposed to toxins (mold, pesticides, etc.) You cannot achieve optimum health without probiotic microorganisms.

Starting with just an ⅛ tsp in 8 oz of water every 2 hours for 6 hours will help get rid of any bug and ease an upset stomach. After that, follow the directions on the bottle for 4-6 months, and your gut will be the happiest it has ever been. Plus, you'll feel better too. Probiotics do wonders, especially when combined with Fulvic acid.

And not only is Fulvic acid unique, but it is also extremely beneficial.  Here are just a few of the benefits:
