ADULT IMMUNITY PROTOCOL
Do you feel like you get sick all the time?
Do you frequently have "allergies"?
Are you sensitive to many things?
Dr. Nuzum's Immunity Protocol may be just what the Doctor ordered!
Immunity is often defined as the ability of an organism to defend itself from its environment and the possible infectious organisms in its environment, but immunity is far more complex than that.
First, we have innate immunity which includes specialized immune cells like neutrophils (natural killer cells) but also includes healthy gut flora, healthy oral flora, healthy urinary tract flora, intact skin, eyelashes, eyebrows, and salivary glands. These all act as natural barriers which keep the good in and the bad out or catch the bad if they get through the barrier.
Second, we have adaptive or acquired immunity. This is the part of immunity that develops antibodies that recognize foreign invaders or foreign substances. This is immunity that develops in response to exposure, either exposure to a pathogen or a toxin or also called an antigen. The immune system responds to the invasion by creating antibodies, or specific poisons, to the invaders. It also can develop antibodies against a substance that it has been exposed to, which assists in alerting the immune system in recognizing a toxic exposure when exposed another time. This type of immunity also occurs when a mother passes antibodies through the placenta, and it is the supposed method through which vaccines stimulate immunity.
Third, we have active immunity, and there are natural active immunity and imposed active immunity. This is a post-infection immunity, where the immune system develops an immunity to the pathogen while overcoming an infection. This normally takes a few days or weeks to develop. This is another route through which vaccines are supposed to work. In my opinion, this is merely an aspect of adaptive immunity, but it is classically defined as a different component of the immune system.
Fourth, we have passive immunity. In this type of immunity, we use Immunoglobulin G to boost immunity for a short period. IgG gives immediate but short-lived immunity and is used in multiple medical treatments as well as during pregnancy.
The immune system is intricate and involved with everything going on in the body. If just one step, component or nutrient is missing misfortune can strike. A variety of issues can cause immunologic disorders which can lead to inflammation in various parts of the body bringing dysfunction and pain.
